Following last year's rip-roaring sold-out success at the Market Theatre, the long-time touring show 'Buddy Holly and The Cricketers' returns to Hitchin as part of this year's Hitchin Festival - and this time the show has moved down the road to the Queen Mother Theatre, with the hope of squeezing in a few more peeps!
For nearly twenty years 'Buddy Holly and the Cricketers' has been a hit all over the world, delighting audiences in every corner of the British Isles and entertaining folk as far afield as the USA, the West Indies, Europe, the Middle East and Thailand – and now, for one night only, a select audience at the Queen Mother Theatre in Hitchin.
This fast, furious and funny rock 'n' roll roller-coaster of a concert always has audiences up on their feet and dancing in the aisles. It features all of Buddy's greatest hits – 'That'll Be The Day', 'Heartbeat', 'It Doesn't Matter Anymore', 'Raining in my Heart', 'Oh Boy!' - and much, much more.
